- Description
- PS9226AS is a fully integrated IPM for high-voltage three-phase motor drive applications, integrating 180 sinusoidal commutation controller chip, high-voltage gate driver chip and fastrecovery power MOS. Due to a high level of integration, few peripheral components are required. The chip supports sensored SVPWM and sensorless FOC to reduce audible noise and minimize torque ripple in motor drives. Moreover, the chip is secured with a wide range of protection features, including over-current protection (OCP), current-limiting protection (CLP), under-voltage lockout (UVLO), temperature sensor detect (TSD), low temperature protection (LTP), motor lock protection (MLP), phase loss protection, configurable maximum speed protection, VDC OVLO/UVLO and abnormal Hall input detection (HALLERR) protection, and also supports sleep mode. With strong insulation, high thermal conductivity and low electromagnetic interference, the chip is housed in a compact package and suitable for built-in motors and other space constraint applications.
